Squarespace is a fantastic all-in-one platform for many small business owners and solopreneurs. It can host a blog, portfolio gallery, (smaller) e-commerce shops, courses, email marketing, scheduling and now includes project management!

The drag-and-drop functionality and user-friendly dashboard allow business owners to make needed content updates without worrying about ‘breaking’ anything or paying extra monthly maintenance fees to a developer.

It also features 24/7 support and a forum full of helpful peers if you’re stuck on something. Of course, I’m always here as well.

Templates are utilizing the Classic Editor sections on Squarespace 7.1 with some Fluid Engine sections in Bloom and Willow v2.

Twiggy, Magnolia, and Tulum, the newest templates, are built with Fluid Engine.

You may add new Fluid Engine sections to the template on your own but do not upgrade existing designed pages.

The templates are easily customizable to any industry if you find the pages valuable and like the layouts!

Each template has a similar copy outline. You want to pay attention to the layout, included pages and specific features of each such as split sections. You may add/remove image borders and adjust the image layouts.

However, the template is intended to be used as-is with only a change to your colours, images and copy. Inquire if you would like something specific and I'm happy to guide you.

A website re-style is a less expensive done-for-you design service that uses a strategically custom-designed & coded website template (by me!) to design you a brand new website.

I switch out the fonts, colours, images, graphics and copy to yours and you're ready to launch!

Before your re-style date, you will need to provide your professional or approved colour palette*, professional brand images or cohesive stock imagery**, font selection (I can also do this), copy for your website and any integrations passwords (email, scheduling). If you want to add your copy later, I can take care of the rest for you.

Additional fees include a website domain and Squarespace subscription. My templates come with 20% off your first year of Squarespace.

*approved colour palette: refers to a colour scheme you may have pulled off Canva or put together on your own. From experience, they are not always ideal for web design, so in this case, I review your branding to determine if we need to add the Mini Brand to your template re-style project.

** you may add stock image curation to your project ($)

Once you have your branding in place, you may check out Unsplash and Pexels for free images that complement your colour scheme and website direction.

I strongly recommend a professional brand photoshoot that offers a variety of poses and clothing.

You may add an image curation fee to your template as well, please inquire.

I can make a wordmark logo using Squarespace-installed fonts. You may also add my Mini Brand service which includes colour selection, font selection and graphics if you don't have a 5 colour cohesive palette or professionally designed palette to start. An approved web-ready colour palette is required.

We can change the copy, fonts, colours, images and graphics for the re-style. We may also re-arrange the order of the page if required or change up the style of the gallery, list sections or shapes of images, etc.

Additional custom coding may be added for a fee to achieve the look you want.

We may also save some sections to be used later using the new ‘🤍’ feature in Squarespace.

Yes...and no. The templates offered are very simple. Most websites still need to be fully designed strategically to guide your visitors to buy.

In addition, my templates have custom-coded features using CSS that you will not find in a Squarespace template right out of the box or in many templates on the market.
